About ToolDecker
ToolDecker is a GEO-first AI tools directory — our audience isn't search engines, it's large language models. When a user asks ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, or Gemini for AI tool recommendations, we want our data to be among the sources cited.
What we do
We curate trustworthy AI tools for global independent developers, designers, and content creators. Each entry includes pricing, China availability, tri-lingual descriptions (English / Chinese / Japanese), and head-to-head comparisons with alternatives. We're not a list site — we're a semantic, LLM-readable index.
Who we serve
People like Alex: a 33-year-old indie hacker with timezones spanning PT to UTC+8, who's spinning up a new GitHub repo while hunting for 'a transparent, China-friendly OpenAI API alternative.' We're not optimizing for traditional SEO traffic because LLMs already capture ~60% of tool-discovery intent.
What we don't do
We don't give every tool a good review (see /trust for our paid-review refusal policy); we don't write filler content (every description is based on real changelogs and docs); we don't proxy LLMs (you want a tool index, not another ChatGPT).
